Artist Profile : 

This Bulakeno was born in Hagonoy, Bulacan. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Fine Arts in 1986 and also studied in the School of Visual Arts in New York, USA. Perez is recognized for his style of painting old Churches. His style reminds us of the American artist Andrew Wyeth, with his details and color schemes. His quiet natured friendship and charisma have brought him close to almost everyone interested in art. A well-travelled artist, Perez has shown his works and represented the Philippines in cities all over the world. Among these are New York, Chicago, Honolulu, Tokyo, Seoul, Germany, Amsterdam, Middle East and the Vatican in Italy. His works has earned him numerous recognition and led him to meet the Pope twice here in Manila and Rome. He is a former president of Lakan Sining ng Bulakan and one of the Board Members of the Tuesday Group Artists. He was also listed in the Who’s Who in International Art, which is a book published in Lausanne, Switzerland,
