About Artist : 

Rowel “Romac” Macapagong was born and raised in Malabon. An advertising graduate and a self-taught artist, Romac works like a carpenter who knows how to make his own canvas and frame. He is a muralist and animator and likes to paint using watercolor, pastel and acrylic. As a son of a fisherman, he helped himself in pursuing his passion and career in arts. Despite his many talents he concentrated his skills to painting using impressionist sometimes naturalist and abstract style of painting. Painting for Romac is not just another career but a way of communicating the beauty and nature to other people. He is now a resident artist at Puno Art Gallery and a member of Art Association of Novaliches.
